10th DENeB PhD Workshop - June 2025

The 10th PhD Workshop with the topic “Navigating the Nexus: Climate Change, Agriculture, and Health” took place on June 6th, 2025 at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Potsdam.

We are particularly happy that Stefania Lovo (University of Reading) accepted our invitation to give a keynote on the connections between climate change and development, focusing on three main challenges: poverty, energy and institutions. 9th DENeB PhD Workshop - April 2024

The 9th PhD Workshop took place on April 30th, 2024 at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) in Hamburg.

We are particularly happy that Amma Panin (Louvain University) accepted our invitation to deliver the keynote address on “Decolonising Economics Research”. We would also like to thank Renate Hartwig (RWI, University of Bochum) and Jann Lay (GIGA, University of Göttingen) for contributing to the panel discussion on this topic that day.
