Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Göttingen

The Chair of International Economic Policy (Prof. Kis-Katos) at the University of Göttingen seeks to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
Applications are invited for a full-time position (currently 39,8 hours per week) starting as soon as possible, with an initial contract of three years and an option for extension (up to max. six years). Salary is according to the pay scale 13 TV-L.

The research group works on issues related to globalization, development and political economy, pursuing mostly data-intensive approaches and combining micro, macro and policy data at various analytical scales. Besides teaching (acc. to § 31 NHG), the research fellow is expected to contribute to the research projects of the group as well as to develop and pursue an independent, publication oriented research agenda. The position is meant to qualify young academics for a scientific career and offers the chance to pursue a habilitation and to prepare for the tasks of a professorship in the future.
