Call for Extended Abstracts for the PEGNet Conference 2017

Dear PEGNet Friends and Colleagues,

PEGNet and the NADEL – Center for Development and Cooperation, ETH Zürich would like to invite you to submit your extended abstracts for the PEGNet Conference 2017. All topics that fall within the fields of development economics are welcome for consideration for a poster or oral presentation. 

Conference Theme:

The plenary sessions of the PEGNet Conference 2017 will centre on the theme: Understanding national inequalities and how to address them. The scientific parallel sessions are open for all topics within PEGNet’s general interest in poverty reduction, equity and growth. To contribute to this discussion, we are interested in high-quality papers and innovative projects that either contribute to the issues outlined by the conference theme or that seek to answer other questions within the field of development economics. Please email your three-page abstracts to in a pdf or Word file and indicate ‘PEGNet Conference 2017’ in the subject heading. Priority will be given to empirical research with clear implications for policy design and implementation.

Notification of acceptance

mid-June 2017

Submission of full papers

August 1, 2017
