Dear Colleagues:

IFAD's Research and Impact Assessment Division is looking for two post-doc and 3-4 research assistants to start as soon as possible. The positions will focus on empirical analysis of microeconomic data from developing countries—impact evaluation data and LSMS/household data. Experience in conducting field work is a plus as is the ability to work in French or Spanish.

Post-docs must have completed their PhD in the last two years. The post-doc positions may be based on Rome, East/Southeast Asia, or East Africa. The selected candidates are expected to publish in agricultural economics and development journals.

The RAs are expected to have an MA in economics, applied/agricultural economics or equivalent area and experience preparing and analysing data using Stata. The RA positions will be based in Rome.

Those interested in a post-doc or RA positions should send an email to indicating in the subject line the position for which they are applying (Post-Doc or RA). Candidates should send a CV along with a cover email noting their interest and when they can start.  We will start considering candidates at the end of next week (27 January) and will continue until sufficient staff are found.
